Harrow Park golf club opens in Abuja

The official launch of Harrow Park Golf/Country Club has taken place in Abuja. The owners say that the members-
only golf club is set to change the face of golf clubbing around the city.

Declaring the club open last weekend, Chairman, Sovereign Wealth Fund and Director, First Bank Nigeria, Alhaji Mahey Rasheed, representing Oba Otudeko as the Chief Launcher, commended the vision of the developers, Tunji Abdul and Kabir Audu. He said, “You can see that despite all the challenges in the economy, and despite all the other societal challenges, Tunji is still trying to find where to put his own mark in the development of the country. Everybody knows Abuja is a big city, but it’s in need of a place where people can exercise and become healthy. Now, all these have been brought under one roof.”

Some of the guests for the opening ceremony included Hajia Bola Shagaya, Senator Akin Odunsi, Minister of Police Affairs, Navy Capt. Caleb Olubolade, Dr. Tunji Olowolafe and Ambassador Alvaro Castillo Aguilar of Spain.
